Hello, Iโm Reinier. Iโve loved working in fundraising since 2001, with organisations including Mรฉdecins du Monde, Mรฉdecins Sans Frontiรจres, Greenpeace International, Save the Children, Oxfam Novib and many others. Theyโve shaped my approach, and Iโm still learning every day.
My focus is building long-term growth through donor-centred, data-driven fundraising. We need to value donors as much as we need value from them. That means understanding donors, strengthening relationships and making investment decisions based on lifetime value.
Through Reinier Fundraising, I support organisations with interim management, programme reviews, strategy developement and coaching, specialising in individual giving. I also created Forward for change to help fundraisers plan, monitor performance and understand the long-term impact of their choices.
Sharing knowledge is part of what I do. I founded the international fundraising blog 101fundraising and, in the Netherlands, Fondsenwerving.blog.
